This past April I went to Denver for the annual #GSMCON Government Social Media Conference. Normally, I would always travel with my Fuji x100F, but this time I decided to only take my iPhone X and leave behind my beloved x100F. It’s that time of year again when Apple has iPhone fans in a frenzy over their latest and greatest release. This year we got not one, but two new iPhones to choose from. Apple released the iPhone 8 (skipping a 7s model) and the all new 10th Anniversary iPhone X preorders start October 27th.

In 2015 with the release of iOS 9 Apple also released a new app called "News". As the name implies its a news aggregator for reading news on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 9 or newer. News is a far better user experience compared to standard web pages with their ever increasing pop ups and animated ads that are clearly more focused on the ads than the content.
