Today's photo is a beautiful scene from the coastline of Kin Village in Okinawa. I never tire of views like this here in Okinawa. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
This week on #ShotOniPhone I thought I would share a few portraits I took this past weekend at Comic Con Okinawa, which is an annual event hosted by Marine Corps Community Services on Camp Foster Okinawa for Marines, their families and the community. I decided to play around with the “Portrait Mode” on my iPhone X and use it to capture portraits of characters from the event.
ShootLighter has always been about lighter, mobile-friendly photography. Sometimes my beloved Fuji x100 series camera is the star of the show, and sometimes it’s my iPhone or DXOOne connected camera. Apple has been promoting #ShotOniPhone for a few years now since the introduction of the iPhone 6, so I thought I would start a weekly “Shot on iPhone” series, a recap of my favorite iPhone photos from that week, or recently.
This past April I went to Denver for the annual #GSMCON Government Social Media Conference. Normally, I would always travel with my Fuji x100F, but this time I decided to only take my iPhone X and leave behind my beloved x100F. I was looking for a way to travel lighter and with my shiny new iPhone X only a few months old still, it seemed like a good idea.
The last couple years, and especially since the release of the iPhone 7 and the end of the headphone port it seems everybody and their brother has entered the wireless earbud market. Apple and Many others are now all competing for our money.
