Tokyo Street with the iPhone 6 Plus Day 1
We arrived in Tokyo yesterday afternoon, dropped off our stuff at the hotel, and took the train to Shibuya. My daughter wanted to shop at H&M, so while she shopped I shot some street. Coming from small town Okinawa Tokyo, especially Shibuya, is nirvana for street photography, as most big cities are I'm sure. I had my Fuji x100s around my neck, but I've really been wanting to put the iPhone 6 Plus to the test and shoot street with it. At first the light wasn't all that great, but then as we were heading back to Shibuya station the late afternoon sunlight started beaming between the buildings, and suddenly I started seeing photos everywhere.

Good morning everyone, or good evening depending on what part of the world your in. I'm at the airport heading out to Tokyo with my daughter for a few days. Gear for this trip will be my trusty x100s, TCL-x100 Teleconverter, and my iPhone 6 Plus. I've got my iPad Air in case I need the larger screen for editing in Lightroom Mobile.
Apple's Watch Marketing Springs to Life
The powerful marketing arm of Apple is winding up in the March issue of Vogue, with a multi-page ad showcasing the design of not only the watch, but the variety and styling of the bands as well. Apple Announces March 9th Event
Apple has announced a live streaming event on their website for March 9th. This will most likely be the official release of the Apple Watch, with availability in April.
Hazy Manzamo Sunset
I know it seems like I'm posting too many sunsets this week, but I was in the Manzamo area tonight, so I stopped to spent a few minutes enjoying the hazy sunset we were having. The sailboat, or whatever that type of boat is called, came into the picture just as the sun was nearing the low clouds that seem to always be there during sunset in Okinawa.
