Maeda Point

Been a while since I posted.  Thought I would post a couple photos from a recent trip out to Maeda Point, a popular snorkeling and diving location here in Okinawa.   This is a small beach about a hundred meters to the left of the main entrance.  I never grow tired of scenes like this.

Miso Ramen ...

One of my favorite foods here in Okinawa is Miso Ramen.   It's great in the winter to warm you up although I enjoy it year round.

New Enve Shots and BTS ...

A couple images from another recent shot I did with Enve Modeling.  I tried out my new lightweight fabric background I recently purchased from B&H.  I think I'm going back to paper though as I wasn't all that pleased with the look of the fabric.  It was much easier to carry and setup which is why I bought it but the fabric shows too many wrinkles that have to be Photoshopped.  I could wash them out by lighting the background separately but that's not the look I had in mind for the current projects I'm working on so It's looking like I'm going back to paper.

There's always a photo bomber.  Even in the studio. :)

Drawing again ...

Drawing has always been an on-again-off-again exercise for me but for the first time I'm much more serious about it.  Even enrolled in a drawing class at UMUC.  No professional plans for the future, just creative therapy more than anything.

Bicycle built for two ...

A common sight here in Japan. I'm always amazed at how comfortable the person on the back looks.
