Photo of the Day - Okinawa Dance

This is a shot I took a while back with my Fuji X-Pro1 and 56mm f/1.2 lens of a traditional Okinawan dancer performance. Shot at f/1.2 it shows the really nice bokeh the Fuji 56mm delivers. I love the Fuji colors too.

Smartphones have come a long way in the last couple years. They are increasingly more amazing at shooting our day-to-day for our social media feeds, but they are also being used more and more by professional photographers as another creative tool on their belts. Bon Appétit magazine recently challenged four photographers to shoot their March 2016 issue with only iPhones. Check out the link below to the story on Bon Appétit's official blog where they ask the photographers their thoughts.

Apple may use Dual Camera Technology in the iPhone 7.

Rumors about the upcoming iPhone 7 have been pointing to possible use of dual camera technology. Dual Cameras basically means having one wide angle lens and one telephoto lens that when combined can reportedly offer better image quality, in addition to multiple focal lengths. This video from CNET shows what the fuss is all about and why we should care.

Photo of the Day - View of Nago

This past weekend my family and I drove up north to view cherry blossoms in Nago. We drove to the top of Nago Central Park where they have a great viewing spot. I took this with my iPhone 6s Plus using one of my favorite camera apps, 645 Pro and edited it in Adobe Lightroom Mobile.

Photo of the Day - Dancing in the rain.

Hope everyone is having a great day. Today's photo is a shot I took this summer with my Fuji X-Pro1 at a local festival. It had rained on and off most of the day and was drizzling during this performance. While the rain was an inconvenience, I do like how it adds contrast to the image colors and lighting.
