How to One-Light, High-Key Lighting Setup

In this article from Petapixel.com UK based photographer, Jake Hicks demonstrates an easy way to achieve a one-light high-key lighting setup using a simple reflector. Although limited to closeups and tight headshot this is a great way to achieve the high-key lighting look. Shoot lighter and still achieve great results.

This is a shot I took a couple years ago with my iPhone 5s while my family and I were vacationing in Tokyo. This is from the top of the Ebisu Garden Palace building.

Rumors about the upcoming iPhone 7 have been pointing to possible use of dual camera technology. Dual Cameras basically means having one wide angle lens and one telephoto lens that when combined can reportedly offer better image quality, in addition to multiple focal lengths. This video from CNET shows what the fuss is all about and why we should care.

Photo of the Day - View of Nago

This past weekend my family and I drove up north to view cherry blossoms in Nago. We drove to the top of Nago Central Park where they have a great viewing spot. I took this with my iPhone 6s Plus using one of my favorite camera apps, 645 Pro and edited it in Adobe Lightroom Mobile.

Photo of the Day - Dancing in the rain.

Hope everyone is having a great day. Today's photo is a shot I took this summer with my Fuji X-Pro1 at a local festival. It had rained on and off most of the day and was drizzling during this performance. While the rain was an inconvenience, I do like how it adds contrast to the image colors and lighting.

Hey everyone. Hope your all doing well today. I took this photo last year while testing my x100T that I had just upgraded to. The photo is part of a blog post I did on shop keepers in Naha. Click here to view that story. I love how he's surrounded with so much merchandise and yet everything looks in place.

Hope everyone has a great day, and I hope you enjoy the video.

Hope everyone is doing well today. Today's photo was shot with my Fuji X-Pro1 and my 56mm f/1.2 (I still love my X-Pro1) of the seawall in Mihama behind American Village. This area is getting nicer every year since the Hilton Hotel opened a couple years back.
