Rainy Day in Tokyo

Not the best of weather on day 2 in Tokyo. Rain, wind, and cold, but when Mother Nature gives you lemons...

I'm not a big fan of rainy days, but there are some images you can't get without it.  I loved the sea of umbrellas as far as you could see.

Harajuku was eerily quite, I'm sure due to the weather, but it's one of the places my daughter loveS to shop, and I love the variety of people.

And then there was the Tesla exhibit. Now I've seen Tesla's online and in ads, but this was my first time seeing one in person. I've never been into electric cars much, but this car has changed my mind, and I want one. The center console looks like a giant iPad! I love that. The the place where you put gas in glows and pulses green for charging, like my MacBook does. Cool! Now I just need to convince my wife that I, I mean we, need a $70,000+ electric car that does 0-6 in under 4 sec, and has a giant iPad console. 😄 Sure no problem, no problem at all.

The rain lasted all day and into the evening, adding wind and colder weather. This was shot was from Ebisu station. I could have got a better image if I took the time to take out my x100s in my bag, but I've been on a roll with the iPhone so why not keep shooting with it.  I used the app "PureShot" on this one so I could go manual and keep the ISO down. The shutter speed was really low, so in order to shoot without a tripod I used the ledge of the building to steady the camera.
